Functionality
Pros: Perfect Care EHR Software by NCG Medical has been useful for keeping our patient information and day to day clinical records organized in one place. I like that the system brings together electronic charting, prescriptions, lab information, billing, and practice management functions instead of requiring us to work across several different applications.
Cons: The biggest concern for us is cost. For a smaller practice, the overall expense needs to be weighed against how many of the available features we actually use.
Verdict: Overall, Perfect Care is a capable EHR and practice management solution with a broad range of functionality. Its ability to combine clinical documentation, e prescribing, laboratory interfaces, billing, and patient information management makes it useful for practices that want an integrated system. I also like the flexibility of being able to access patient information remotely. That said, I would not describe it as the most polished EHR available.
