Pros: What worked best for us with 4medica iEHR software was having patient information available through a connected system rather than keeping records and results spread across different applications. Physicians could access patient records, test results, and medication information from one place, which made reviewing a patients history considerably easier. The platforms interoperability capabilities are also valuable because connecting information from different healthcare systems is a major part of our workflow.
Cons: We needed ongoing training, particularly for staff who were not familiar with the more advanced features. That adds some overhead during onboarding.
Verdict: Overall, 4medica iEHR system is a useful solution for organizations that need more than basic electronic charting and wanted to connect patient information across different healthcare systems. Its strength is really in data connectivity and access to information rather than having the most extensive clinical workflow features of a large enterprise EHR.

Pros: The software system covers the essentials. It manages scheduling charting and billing without requiring a huge investment. I appreciate that it is cloud based and once you learn the layout it handles routine visits fine.
Cons: The learning curve is noticeable and it does not feel as intuitive as newer EMRs. Support can be slow to respond when we have had issues and some features take too many steps to complete.
Verdict: 4medica iEHR is functional but not perfect. For smaller practices on a budget I suggest would find them handy. But I would not call it the most user friendly solution out there.

Functionality
Pros: 4medica iEHR has strong interoperability. It connects well with outside labs and hospitals which makes pulling in patient records much smoother. The cloud based setup is handy. Whenever I want I can log in securely from home when needed. It is also fairly lightweight compared to some of the bulkier EMRs.
Cons: The interface looks dated and takes some time to get comfortable with. Reporting and analytics tools could be more robust for tracking patient outcomes.
Verdict: it is a good choice if your practice relies on exchanging information across multiple systems. It might not blow you away with design but for connectivity and accessibility it does the job.

Pros: I love the fact that with this EHR we can directly provide inpatient and outpatient data of labs or pathology or even imaging from any location to our physicians.
Cons: Training was very long. We have even had to take extra sessions for different features.
Verdict: It is a great software for health services.
